Sportsman's Home Page has been online since the late 1990's. I started the internet site under the name of Skip's Outdoors as an outlet for freelance articles I was writing at the time and ran it as a magazine type web site for a couple of years. Later on we added the forums and eventually became Sportsman's Home Page. Through the mid 1990's the site grew and at one point we were larger in viewership than most midsized newspapers.
